About Carl Lee
I was born in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire but eventually found myself studying Geography at Sheffield City Polytechnic (1982-85).
After some peripetic years teaching in schools and travelling across Asia I ended up teaching A level Geography at The Sheffield College for a couple of decades.
Currently I work part-time for The University of Sheffield, manage a couple of allotments, read, write and think about how I can help my kids to inherit a better, fairer world than the one we have now.
If you want to find out more about me read ‘Home: A Personal Geography of Sheffield’.
Coming out in March 2016 ‘Geography’ on the Profile imprint (Ideas in Profile: Small introductions to big topics) co-authored with Danny Dorling
